This work is one of the most comprehensive that exists, it was written by Imam Abul-Hasan ibn Faaris (452H) and Imam ibn al-Jazary reports that originally this Jaami ‘gathers 35 different Tariqat in the Qur’anic readings and it is one of the most authentic work in the field. Ibn al-Jazary drew from this book for his own works.

This treasure of Qiraat science is published for the first time from the only manuscript available, which contains 18 different Riwayahs.

At the beginning of his book, Ibn Faris exposes the different rules of reading and the specificities of each Riwayah, examples to support. Then, according to the order of the surahs, he mentions every word and verse that has differences of reading or writing according to the different Riwayahs.
